There was so much drama the day we found this island 🤣
Because it was high tide, we had to walk through the forest behind (or dish out 200 baht for a boat ride). And because we were on holiday, and had time, we made the very smart decision to walk. 😑 In flipflops. Through a forest.
I felt so brave facing the perilous walking path, riddled with dangerous crabs, steep rocks, and potential snakes and spiders. It felt like hours (edit: it was 20 minutes) through the bush, and I peeled my foot raw (I swear this part is real.)
To everyone else, please. Take the frickin boat.
Once you get to the other side, you can snorkel to your heart’s desire, over an underwater ridge that plunges 5meters deep into schools of colorful fish!
Wake up to a beautiful sunrise in your cabin, and watch the sun set on the other side of the island – PARADISE!
